This was a first for an expedition ship and a true exploratory expedition. Beginning in Cape Town, this exceptionally well organized voyage took us well into the heart of the West Africa Slave coast, to interior villages, voodoo ceremonies, and to places, such as Luanda and Freetown, only recently opened to tourism.
